WINNERS OF THE JOHOR INTERNATIONAL INNOVATION, INVENTION COMPETITION AND SYMPOSIUM 2024 (JIIICAS)

Batam – Universitas Batam participated in the Johor International Innovation, Invention Competition and Symposium 2024 (JIIICaS), organized by Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Cawangan Johor from October 12–14, 2024.

The Johor International Innovation, Invention Competition and Symposium 2024 (JIIICaS) is an annual event held in Johor, Malaysia, aimed at promoting innovation and invention among students, researchers, and innovators from around the world.

This year, the event was held in a hybrid format, involving hundreds of participants and featuring more than 284 innovative products.

Students from Universitas Batam achieved outstanding results in the Research and Innovation Competition, securing four medals: 1 Gold Medal from the Faculty of Economics and Business team, 2 Silver Medals from the Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering teams, and 1 Bronze Medal from the Mechanical Engineering team.
